week 7; locked to yuno; monday evening

[So...apparently Yuno felt pretty bad over what happened last trial? Which Judar honestly does not give a shit about. Seriously, it's her own fault for getting so attached to an asshole like Jack (and yes he knows how hypocritical he's being here but aside from the occasional hilarious bout of craziness, what is so good about that guy and also what the fuck did he do to his own kid) and a party pooper like Liz (okay the possessed thing was a surprise, he'll give her that). As far as he's concerned, six weeks of knowing someone is not enough to cry over them or die over them, especially when they're not even dead so who cares???

Still, he does respect her for her determination to achieve her goals at any cost, and that little psycho fest when they first met was honestly kind of awesome once he stopped freaking out. Why not remind her of her original goal? It'd be a shame if she lost sight of it for someone like Jack or Liz, and he can even earn some of that sweet sweet furniture set in the process. So he's been hard at work on her original commission of the wedding photo of her and Yuuki that had been burned.

The drawing is actually...surprisingly pretty damn good. Certainly not on professional levels, but he's been studying magic formulas pretty much since he was born - he knows how to keep a steady hand and how to replicate precise lines and angles. It's just that usually if it's not magic, he doesn't bother putting in the effort...plus shitty drawings are more hilarious anyway. That said, a good hand still doesn't make up for a shitty memory, and he can't remember anything about Yuuki in that photo except black hair and a bland face, so he just stuck the guy in a Chinese wedding robe. Look, considering it's him we're talking about here, that is honestly way more effort than expected. On the back, in his very distinctive Arabic-looking handwriting, he's written:]

You owe me ALL the furniture sets.

Never mind, I don't want DEAD PEOPLE furniture.

[Of course, if he hands this to her face to face, she might misinterpret the gesture as one of friendliness or kindness instead of...whatever fucked up thing this is. She might even expect EMOTIONS from him.

So like a true hero, he just shoves it under her door late at night and proceeds to casually BOOK IT down the hallway.]

[ if you'd thought that yuno hadn't expected anything from judar and dave with regard to her request, you'd be right.

truth be told, she had been tired that day. she'd been exhausted, unable to sleep, refusing to sleep for fear of dreaming about death and abandonment again, but judar and dave offering drawings for digital furniture... it was cute. calming, almost. it was nice to see that even if everyone was stressed, upset, forgoing sleep and fighting against the slow psychological breakdown surely settling in. their little booth with ugly artwork was endearing for that reason alone.

so when a drawing slips beneath her door, she really doesn't expect to see a... not exact replica, but a damn near impressive attempt at a hand drawn version of that wedding photo. judar has asked her about her marriage, and she couldn't respond. if she didn't live through this, then... that day would never come. she couldn't risk a shaky response.

but now. now. this is in her hands, and though it doesn't capture the shyness in yukki's gaze, or his jawline, which is sure to become even more handsome as he ages, ...her heart aches. she yearns for, in that moment, yukki's voice. his arms, his gaze; anything would be good.

if judar's goal is to reinvigorate yuno, he succeeds. someone out there is cheering her own. it was hard in the beginning, but in the end, aren't the people here good? she flips the paper over, searching for a message. this isn't dave's work, so she knows it's judar's just by process of elimination. the note on the back makes her smile and -- tears well up in her eyes, she thinks, because the note suddenly looks so bleary.

without wasting a moment more, yuno forces the door open, and her voice surely echoes through out the quarters. ]

Wait! Wait for me! Judaaaaaaaaaar! My furniture isn't from dead peeeeeeeeeeeeeeeople!!!

[ he better flee faster, there's a yandere on the loose and he should know from experience they're wily ]

What do you mean nice? I just wanted that furniture you'd been collecting. I didn't know it was from dead people until after I already finished the drawing, and I wasn't about to let all my work go to waste!

Oh Solomon's ass, no. Do I look like the type of guy who'd get married to you? [i mean he's already kind of murdermarried to Hakuryuu but we won't talk about that] I've just seen my fair share of weddings. Even officiated a few.
